Design and Management of Sustainable Energy Buildings

Upon completing the module, students will have gained a broader understanding of the:

• concepts, methodologies/tools and processes required for designing, building and operating sustainable buildings

• types/ forms of energy used in buildings

• type renewable energy technologies and how they can be integrated in buildings

• evaluation of buildings’ resource-efficiency (e.g. energy- and water-efficiency), as well as environmental and socio-economic performance in various stages of their operation and overall lifecycle.
