Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

• Carry out an independent research of their choice

• Identify and work with research methods in the area of their expertise

• Critically analyse / review research papers

• Efficiently state research questions

• Communicate results and develop responses on the basis of the research questions based

• Apply theoretical knowledge and understanding in relation to their study area

• Critically analyse and discuss the results of the work on the basis of the research’ shortcomings as well as compared to the research results of the wider scientific field

• Develop the final two chapters of their dissertation namely: 4. Discussion of the results 5. Conclusions and Further Research Steps

• Prepare the dissertation presentation
